| Zeta Crossover 5-string EUB $1100 ZETA CROSSOVER ELECTRIC UPRIGHT BASS (EUB) XB-305 5-STRING
I am the original owner of this instrument; it was purchased directly from Zeta in 2004.
This sale includes the Zeta 5-string bass, original padded gig bag, upper bout attachment, original end pin, a double braced tripod stand, and bow.
The bass is in great condition, there is a small amount of rosin dust that has settled around the bridge, it can be felt, but not seen. I did not risk damaging the finish by removing it since it is not noticeable by sight. No major dings, just very minor evidence of careful normal use.
The body is natural finished swamp ash.
The fingerboard is radiased as an upright, to allow you to play arco style with a bow (included).
Strung with what I believe are D’Adarrio Chromes, if my memory serves.
The Zeta end pin telescopes for height adjustment. I am including the tripod I finagled from a drummer buddy. It is the lower section of a double braced cymbal stand. You can disassemble the Zeta end pin, secure the top of the pin into the bass as it was designed, then insert the pin/bass into the tripod. Adjust the height as desired, tighten the tripod’s clamp and you have a solid and reliable stand for your bass. Legs out is a stand, fold the legs in and it acts as an end pin.
It has strap buttons so it can be played as a traditional electric bass, but with a cool tripod like the one described above, I never played it like that. But it is a nice option.
The bow is what I would describe as a beginner’s grade accessory, but I have had no issues using it.
The bout came from Zeta, is constructed of wood, became loose over time, and was reinforced with glue. It secures to the back of the body with thumb screws and makes it more comfortable while playing it as an upright.
The gig bag that came with the bass is plush lined, has a couple of grab handles and a back pack type strap. It also has a zippered storage compartment and a couple of 9 volt batteries included.
There are jacks for Aux in and headphones for when silent practice is desired.
The bass runs on two 9 volt batteries. Inside the body cav, there is an array of mini pots for adjusting the volume on each string. The bass has a standard instrument jack. It also has a proprietary output jack that is designed for the Zeta Synthony MIDI controller/amp.
Paypal only. $1100 ships it to you!
