ZON 519H - Beautiful Koa Top - MINT

Didn't see this coming, but sometimes once the GAS seed has been planted it can't be stopped. Original owner purchased this bass 3 months ago from Bass San Diego for $4880; I'm the second owner. Bass is still in like new condition with no dents, dings, scratches, anything.. Still has the factory strings that have plenty of life.

This bass looks, sounds, and plays incredible. It's my 14th Zon, and the nicest that I've owned. The satin finish feels great, and the Koa top is amazing. The matching headstock is classy, and the fretboard has lots of figuring. Tone is off the charts and it almost plays itself.

Quick Specs:

Zon 519H
Koa Top and MHS
Satin Finish
Bartolini Humbuckers and Bartolini 4.3 Preamp
19mm spacing, 35" scale, 22 Frets
Zon Access Gig Bag

Sale price is $3100 OBRO shipped via UPS in the upper 48. Top of the market for a Zon, but this one is worth every penny of that and then some.

Trades:

1. Would take a Zon of this exact pedigree with Jazz pickups, or an older (2005'ish) Zon with Jazz pickups + cash.
2. Skjold 5
3. MTD 535 - Ash/Walnut/Ash/BEM
4. Will entertain other fretted 5's, but don't be surprised if I say no.

No more than 9.5 pounds, and honestly probably real close to 9. Surprisingly light for a 519. I'll go buy a scale if it's a make/break issue.

Oh man, it hurts to see you sell this. Best looking Zon ever! A bass as fine as this deserves to be played and loved.

How do the Bart humbuckers compare to the Bart j pickups that usually come standard on the 519

Thicker. Little more low end and a good bit more going on in the midrange.

I won't let it tempt you much longer Joe. I'll let it run through Sunday, but if it doesn't move I'll gladly hang on to it. Who knows.. Maybe one day I'll have GAS for a walnut/mahogany SKB 3006 with a Joe Meyer preamp.
