Zon Sonus 4 Bass - Price Drop SOLD

Graphite neck, superb, light swamp ash body with quilted maple top, black cherryburst finish, black hardware. It's in fantastic shape (no apparent wear and definitely no dings or damage). Not sure exactly what year, but it has to be fairly recent (the seller didn't know a lot about the bass). It does have a truss rod.

I'd keep it in a heartbeat, but I'm out of work, starting a business that desperately needs start-up capital. I'm willing to take a bit of a loss to move this quickly - I'd like to get $1600 shipped to the lower 48 (already a couple hundred less than I paid), but pitch me any reasonable offer. I wanted to give TB'ers a look at this before putting it on Ebay. But if I don't get some serious interest in the next 24-48, to the 'bay it must go.

Here's what you get: Light and responsive with versatile and powerful sound. Impeccably built. The neck is slim (Jazz profile) and fast with a smooth, quick flat finish. Warm and responsive – not cold or sterile, with the benefits of graphite – Even tone, clarity, endless sustain. The Bartolini pickups and proprietary preamp give you a lots of tones from modern to traditional.

Zons are unique and very nice to play and handle. This is a nice Zon. According to the Zon website, this bass, new with the upgrades (gloss finish and black hardware) has a Minimum Sale Price (lowest price Zon allows dealers to discount to) of $3,728. So – you could be the big winner in all this.

Condition: Couldn’t be better unless it were fresh out of the box new. I bought it from someone who didn’t play it out (and can’t even have handled it a lot). Let’s be safe and call it 9 out of 10, but it basically looks new and doesn’t show any apparent wear (apart from those microscopic swirls on the gloss).

Comes with a nice Zon Protec gig bag.
