Beautiful, wonderful bass. Excellent condition with the only real cosmetic issue being two small finish cracks at the edges of the neck pockets. I've seen those cracks on quite a few Zons ... Joe just makes the neck pockets so tight that a relatively small bump can crack the finish. Strung with fresh and zesty LaBella slappers, which are great on this bass. Comes in a brand new Ultralight hardshell.
Price drop to $1750 shipped in the lower 48.
For trades, I'm still looking for a great PJ, and I'd consider preamps and heads. I'll look at others.
Low quality (sorry) soundclips:
Through an alembic F1-X, a little quiet. http://www.themadmonkey.com/zon/1.wav
Just the raw bass signal made stereo by my cafe walter. No compression, no nuthin. You just have to imagine this pumped through your tube pre and high end cabs ... its a thing of beauty ... sits GREAT in the mix. http://www.themadmonkey.com/zon/3.wav

I like the Zons better |

Should be here in a few days, then its likely back up for sale (though I may change my mind when I get to play it again). | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
