What's the scale and string spacing at the bridge? Cool looking Zon!

That is a cool looking bass! The seller needs to get at least two better shots of this bass, and I think it will sell fairly quickly.

It is 34 inch scale with 17mm spacing.
I'll take better pics and post them up here - thanks for the suggestion.
It is 3-4 years old so probably does not have a truss rod, but I'll check and confirm.

To ME! Hah! And to make things even better, I picked up an Epifani UL2-112 from another TB'er an hour later.

Nice! Is it my imagination, or is that a Legacy (not a Sonus)?

Looks like a Sonus to me, but the neck pickup position is different than the Sonus models on the Zon website. The Lagacy models have a different body shape.

This one has tons of mwahhh and the yummy buzziness of roundwounds on a super hard fingerboard. Too much fun! And that preamp puts out gobs of signal, way more than my Nordy or my Fender Jazz with the J-Retro.

How is it that a guy that goes by "Fretster" buys a bass with no frets? You'll need to change it to "fretlesster".

Well, that's been a problem. I now have more fretless basses (3) than fretted (2). But I have a couple mandolins, and 4 guitars, and they all have frets, so it kind of averages out. Sort of.

Nice. Must have been the weird angle of the first photo, made the horns look different.
Good score!

Is this still available? I see the posting was deleted from my local Craigslist. Wondering if you had any interest in the trade(s) I emailed you about last week. If not, just consider this a bump for a bass I really want in a month I happen to be on a bass budget freeze. I'd buy it, but I've bought too many toys lately.

It's been sold, it was mentioned earlier in the thread.

The neck pickup is in the normal spot for the Sonus Standard! Nice score.

Thanks Angus. I see you are no stranger to Zon basses. Any idea why the blend knob is reversed compared to (most) other blend knobs? I sent an email to Zon Sales Support, but have not heard back.
