Next is my Zon Sonus six-string. It's got a very clear and super-punchy tone. It also has a good warmth to it- it's not sterile at all. The pan and EQ give a really great tonal variety- it's about the equal to my Elrick singlecut four-string as far as tonal variety, which a high standard in my book.
Specs are:
Zon Sonus six-string;
34" scale
Bart soapbars
Polyfusion preamp (controls are volume, balance, bass, treble, and there's an internal mid control)
ash body
goncalo alves top.
It has two small dings on the very bottom, one little nick on the back near the control cavity, and one small finish crack (about 3/4" to an inch) on the neck heel- it is finish only and does not extend down to the wood. You can see these in the photos. $1400 OBO plus shipping and the 3% PayPal fees (I also accept Post Office money orders).
I can include an ebony ramp for it for an additional $75

And third is my Desert Gold MusicMan HH Bongo Five-string.
This bass was sent to the EBMM shop about 2 months ago because of a buzzing fret, and the guys there gave the neck a refret. While removing the neck, they accidently chipped the body, so they replaced the body entirely, so the bass is basically brand new- no nicks, scratches, chips, etc. It also comes with a pink ivorywood ramp if the buyer wishes for me to keep it on. The silver strap buttons in the photos have since been replaced with black Dunlop strap lock buttons. 850 OBO plus shipping and the 3% PayPal fees (I also accept Post Office money orders).

JB | The Elrick was purchased new in January from Bass Club Chicago. I believe Rob built it in late 2004, but it went to the Guitar World Bass Player review after that then went to the bass shop. The weight is 7.5lbs- 8lbs. |
