Zon Sonus Special 4-string

From the early '90s with long-discontinued Bartolini electronics that Joe Zon apparently really loved. How do I know? Mr. Zon worked on this bass himself. He put in a new fretboard--including bubinga fret markers, installed a truss rod, and sanded the neck to a satin finish. The body is in impeccable condition.

I just don't play it enough to justify continuing to own it, plus I need to downsize before I move apartments in a few months. (Hence the other gear I'm selling, as well.)

$2000 + shipping to CONUS. No trades.

I've played this bass a few times, and conferred with Joe Zon about the neck rebuild. This is, in my professional opinion, a killer bass.

I will also attest that Brad is a fine and upstanding dude.

I had the fretted version of this bass. I bought mine around 1997 from Bass Northwest in Seattle. Great bass. And the Bartolini multi coils were much quieter than the single coils that I had in my Zon 5 string.
