*** FS: Ampeg V4B Classic (V4BH) all tube head! near mint!***

Hello all!






Up for sale is an Ampeg V4B Classic (which is similar to the V4BH with different graphics).


It's in great condition. No tolex rips or tears (just minor cosmetic things), the tubes are fairly fresh, and the amp functions 100% as it should. Zero issues.
The only thing that prevents it from being mint is that it has one non-original knob. I replaced it with a knob I had in my parts bin.

I'd like to get $550 shipped to the lower 48.

What are the preamp tubes that are visible (there are 2 inside also), both 12AU7's?

One is a 12AX7 and one is a 12AU7.

I didn't know there were any inside!

I just finished repairing one like 20 minutes ago, the preamp "proper" is situated behind the knobs at the front and has 2x12AX7. The two external tubes are considered "drive". Both of the ones this amp has are 12AUX7 but I thought that might be wrong...just based on the sound. Can you tell me, looking at the back, which tube is on the left?

I just looked inside....both 12AX7s.
