***1969 Ampeg SVT***

I've had this head for a little while now. I put it right in the shop after buying it for new filter caps, new power tubes (JJ 6550), and a nice cleaning . All pots date to '69 as does the serial number. It's been sounding great at practice, but I have a '78 that I have sentimental value with and can't part with. I'm looking to buy a new bass and move some gear in the process.

1969 Blueline SVT:




The grill cloth pictured is a replacement from fliptops.net, but I have the original. The amp has new feet on the bottom form fliptops as well and has been modified to have a power cable that you can remove to pack it up (like the new SVT's).

I have a 1969 cab that is all original except for a new grill cloth that I'd sell with the head if someone within in driving distance is interested in.

Almost got rid of an amazing head. Figured out what I was doing wrong with this one. Shutting this thread down. Keeping my 2 SVT's. They are monsters and exactly what I love in bass amps !
