**F/S BBE BMax Preamp**

This one looks pretty much like new and sounds GREAT! This is the best bang-for-the-buck preamp out there IMO. $150 shipped. I'll try to get a pic up soon.

It has a Sonic Maximizer, an AWESOME one-knob compressor, para-mids and is the warmest solid-state pre I've ever heard!

I've heard about an imput modification to prevent next stage clipping... this baby has the mod already??

Good question... It's a electric component mod, so I think you have to be a technician or similar to know...
I've been reading great reviews of this baby... do you used this preamp with a power amp, or in the front or effect loop of a amp head?? I have a Carvin B1500, and I'm thinking on give her a kind of different sound.. it's a hot signal preamp??

I use it with a power amp but it will work fine into the effects return of your amp.

I use it through a power amp to. The B-Max is a very musical pre. Clear and clean sound. I have 2 of them.

The Bmax-T is in the gig rig, the BMax is in the recording console rack.
