This is a relist because I can't change the title with/for my new lower price.

This is the amp that became the Traynor DynaBass 800H.

You would be hard pressed to find an amp with this many features, sounds this great and has this much power for so low a price, less than 50cents a watt.

This is a solid Canadian built workhorse amp that is loud enough and has enough features that you could upgrade or downgrade to it and you would be very happy.

Sorry for the noob question but if one had an 800 watt cab, would that pair well with this head or would the head be too powerful for the cab?

Hi, I think that's a great question^ even for experienced sound dudes and dudets.

Watt ratings are mystic for both amps and cabs, how every company arrives at their rating is not standardized and I'm not sure it could be with out some type of universal testing devises that I haven't invented yet.

The short answer is more than likely will work great. This amp has more than enough clean headroom even with less efficient cabs. If your cab starts to stress or has flatulence, tweak the eq and/or lower the master.

What ohm and which exact cab would give me more info to be more frank with my answer, so PM me if you want with details and I'll do my best to answer them.
