1960's Ampeg B-25 Project Head CHEAP

I got this a few years back as a rainy day project and other than testing it out I have never had a chance to fix it up.

What I know about it.

Late 60's (serial may be 1969) Ampeg Linden NJ B-25 bass head. I think after researching the serial it was made in the Tenn. Magnavox factory. It still has the non grounded plug. *****SOLID STATE*****

It has the internal speaker wire with a 1/4 inch end and I had to remove the end due to not working. It has about 3.5 feet left of internal speaker wire to either attach a 1/4 inch plug or find a way to install a jack on the back.

Channel 1 works pretty well with some minor noise, I plugged it up and it works through a cab.

Channel 2 works but if a the knobs hit a sweet spot it sounds like a fiery hornets nest.

Someone at some point took this to an amp tech and for some reason (maybe lack of being able to find one) bypassed the first fuse, also some other things like the switches don't look original. I think this thing was a workhorse for someone.

I know it has been retolexed. Doesn't look horrible, and the Chassis is not mounted properly.

It is a project amp, plain and simple.

If anyone wants to tinker with something and has something laying around let's swap. I am sure if you wanted to drop 100 bucks into this being non tube and already 80% works an amp tech could get this humming right along.

I am open to anything in trade. Just make it worth my time to ship this because it is slightly heavy.

The pics, you will notice the speaker jack is empty, I have the speaker cord tucked in the amp for safe keeping:

Amp gut:

TRADES- maybe. Can't think of anything I might need other than a decent gig bag and maybe a pocket pod or something. Just run it by me.

Sale- 125 SHIPPED Paypal strongly preferred

If you are local to the Metro DC, MD, VA, WV area that pickup price would be 80 bucks. After repair work you would have a working 41 year old Ampeg for under 200 bucks.
