1964 Ampeg B15N portaflex amp for sale. Serial # 002276.
$1,750. It is in great condition!
It was serviced last year by Dennis Kagan of New Jersey, a former Ampeg employee who knows his stuff. The amp got new speaker cable and power cord and was cleaned well. This amp, when powered up, sounds gorgeous! There is no hiss or hum or any noise at all. Just bass guitar! Everything is original, except the cords and the speaker was replaced with a 15” Altec 4214. It does not have the dolly. The amp has the blue diamond tolex and only a few cuts and scrapes; otherwise very nice looking! I would rather not ship this amp. I will deliver FREE within a radius of 150 miles of New York City. It is too fragile, heavy, and costl for shipping; approximately weight 80 lbs. It sounds fabulous! Please PM me for pictures. They will be up soon. Thanks!
