Excellent condition. A few scuffs in the tolex.

Price $1400 plus actual shipping.

No trades. Thought I'd give TBrs a shot before Ebay.

Thanks!

Hmm, I've got like four hours left on an auction that I'm winning for the moment on an SVT II pro. If I get outbid on that one (I'm not going to bid any higher) I'll definetely be PM'ing you. That's assuming somebody else doesn't snag it before then.

Ah, thanks frosty. That's what I want to hear. Would you car to expand on that. Do you have experiance with both amps. I'm a recent convert to the ampeg sound. I just got a v4av recently and have seen the light. I'm totally digging the powerfull, full, round, blooming, alive sound each note has. Something I don't think I ever got from my GK. I can't wait to plug in a real vintage svt!!

nothing sounds as good as these old amps for electric bass. just remember to be gentle with it. broken tubes are expensive and the amp is fragile. and remember to lift with your legs. these things are HEAVY.

Not to take up too much space on a SOLD item but this thread here Vintage SVT's will pretty much cover your questions.

As to being fragile - IMO they are built like tanks - many are almost 30 years old and still going strong!!!

Frosty.
