After many hours debating this, I have decided to put up for sale my beloved SVT

This head and the matching cab was (and is) the amp I have always dreamed of. It is just so overkill for me and my band...and I need some cash to finish school this summer. It sucks, but time to say goodbye. Here is a little about my SVT:

I bought it from Willies Guitars in Minnesota in the fall of 07. It had a clean bill of health and came with a roadcase. It has never failed to perform since day 1 with me, but I am kind of obbsessive and decided to retube and recap the amp so I would have a "new" vintage SVT.

Power tubes have less than 100 hrs I guess. Bought the best I could afford and got the Tung-Sol reissues.

Replaced every preamp tube with NOS USA tubes. GE, Sylvania, and RCA.

Recap kit from fliptops professionally installed.

New grillcloth insert from fliptops. Old one included as well.

New and much quieter fan installed. Old one included as well.

This head is everything you would want from an early 70's SVT. It should be good to go for many, many years as is.

$1800 shipped FedEx AIR to lower 48. It has a roadcase, so it will come packed well. Local pickup welcome as well.

I love the 70's Ampeg tone, so I would be interested if someone has a V4B or V4 that theyd want to use as partial trade. I am also possibly interested in a B25 or B15S!

Definitely interested in a partial trade towards a 70's V4B or V4! I also get a great discount on shipping so a swap is doable

BTW - the P-bass you sold me is doing great....the Jazz neck I put on it sure put on the finishing touch.....

We are looking for the opposite things! I have a mid-70s v4 with a set of brand new 7027s in it, and I am looking for mooore power. The v4 ran with my 2x15 is not giving me enough magic. Let me know if you are still interested... tanx!
