1976 Silverface Fender Bassman 50 - Non master volume - $350

I got this head from a buddy of mine a while back, but I rarely use it, so it's time to pass it on to someone who can give it the care it needs and play it out!

The head has some cosmetic issues like dings and such in the tolex, but nothing that alters the way the head works in any way. The nice part is that this head still has the feet on it to hook it up to a tiltback cabinet without falling off.

The Bass channel is currently not working, but the normal channel is just fine.

The head was recently retubed with JJ's and the preamp tubes are a mixture of the original tubes and NOS 12ax7's. Before I got the amp, someone put a modern 3 prong replacement cord on the amp.

The head sounds amazing, and is everything you think of with these old bassman heads.

I'm asking $350 for the head for talkbass members. Interested parties can PM or email for more pictures.

Here's a bump for a great head, and a great guy. Boobie, you're killin me! That was my first "good" bass head. I bought a used one in about 1977 when I was in junior high, and it just killed.

No idea. If I knew, I'd just fix it...

Point to point wiring on these.

Throw trades at me, I'm willing to look at several.
