(4) Eminence Alpha-10a woofers. (2) BP102-4 woofers. Just got them and plugged them in to make sure they work 100%. They were supposed to go into a sealed cab project but, I just changed my gear up and won't be finishing the project.
Alpha's - $160 shipped for all 4.
BP102's - $120 for both.
I really feel that overall, the alphas are the best sealed 10". They have a good mixture of tone, low end, low weight and affordability. Great in 4x10 and 8x10 cabs. The bp102-4's have superior bottom end and when run in series have about the same sensitivity as a pair of alphas run in series. Great for a 4ohm 6x10 cab.
That's a good sounding combo. The alphas will have better low end in a sealed cab. I've tried every 10" I could find that might work in a sealed cab. Combinations are usually pretty good. If I could use only one driver it would probably be the alpha. It seems to be a good overall driverinstead of being bettet at one thing than others. I really like combinations though. Thats why I wa s going to use bp102 and alpha drivers.
