Accugroove Tri115L (TWO of them!!) with covers!!

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I'm liking my Streamliner 900 thru a Berg AE410 much more than I do thru these cabs, and it's time I move on from em!

Both cabs have been babied and have never been used without their respective covers. BUT, and this is only a cosmetic 'but' for one cab, there IS a small burn mark on one of the cabinets where a stage light burned through the carpet. Why the hell would a stage light be BEHIND your rig you might ask? Well I thought the lighting rig behind me was not going to be operated (seeing another setup above and in front of us and thinking the stage-floor level lights were unused spares) so I didn't realize the problem until I began to smell burnt carpet.

Again, NOTHING at all wrong with this cabinet minus that small flaw. All of which I'll document as soon as I get my camera back from the little lady.

Neither cab has been pushed, and if anything they were underused sonically, whether with my Streamliner 900 or with my DB750. Never had to push them much at all to fill the room with a fat yet clean sound. These cabs extend cleanly into the sub frequencies, but yet are a little bit more balanced overall than some other Accugroove Cabs. Great lowmid kick overall.

Each cab comes with an Accugroove cover ($120 a piece), and if possible I'd NOT like to ship these cabs. I'll drive to either Dallas/Ft Smith/Wichita/Amarillo, and maybe even St. Louis to meet a serious buyer. If I DO have to end up shipping them, buyer pays shipping costs.

For the minty Tri115L:

$$750

For the slightly-scarred-but-still-amazing Tri115L:

$$700

Not looking for any trades, and again am NOT wanting to ship these if I don't have to. If the right buyer wanted a local-ish deal for both cabs, i'd do $1300 and drive to or close-to the above-listed cities.

Pics forthcoming!!!

They really are quite something, and two of them with the DB750 is a veritable CANNON!

Well, I know that mine with either a Glockenklang HeartCore or a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0 sound absolutely fantastic!

I really wish I could justify getting another just so that I could stop looking at this thread!

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! However, I only get to use my rig for practice and *maybe* a gig or two a year - I almost always have to use the supplied rig.

I've recently auditioned for a couple of bands but I'm picky and they were not a good fit, so...

These cabs will spoil you if you have to deal with backline most of the time. Of course, it seems like it would be VERY hard to make the basses on your list sound bad!

I love, love love my Tri-115. I think you will regret selling these as they are super light in weight and beefy sounding.

I was considering getting a Streamliner but maybe it will be too dark thru the Accugroove, what do you think?

BTW I'm currently going Eden WT-300 > Crown XTi1000 > Accugroove Tri 115.

I might end up keeping one of these after all. We'll see!! If you like the tone of your Eden thru that cab, and in general are putting a brighter sounding bass thru the Streamliner-Accugroove Tri115L rig, I don't think you'll have a problem. For ME, my dark and thick Sadowsky PJ5 with flats was a LITTLE too much.

Yeah I can see that esp. with flats. My Modulus is pretty bright but I have a new Bass, Sadowsky MV5-24, it sounds amazing thru this setup too. Maybe I'll put my TI flats on it just to see what kind of thump I'll get.

GLWS, someone will be getting a great cab at a great price, I paid $1100 for mine!
