Acoustic Image Corus combo

Sign in to disble this ad
I was going to keep this (and still may), but I am running out of room...and since I now have a Ten2, Ten2EX, and a Contra EX I can use with my Focus head, it is hard to justify having the small combo.

This has two channels (with quarter inch/balanced ins), phantom power, effects, notch filter, DI, etc. Note however that this is not the Corus Plus which comes with the removable head and more power (although this baby packs a real wallop). It is also the amp that Acoustic Image designed with a slightly more upfront sound to appeal to guitar players (although they say it is a matter of taste and many bass players love them). I have never found it to be bass shy for electric gigs and, yet, I actually like the sound of it a little more than the Contra or Coda for upright.

Sorry for the long preamble, but I note the Bob Gollihur is selling these as new old stock for $1159 shipped. This has a couple of very minor scuffs here and there, but has never been really pushed and looks great. I will sell it for $800 shipped in the lower 48. Comes with cover and AI's phenomenal warranty.

Its a really versatile little beast. Put it with an extension cab and the two tens pump out a ton of bass (other bass players are incredulous when they see where all the sound is coming from even in mid-size rooms). But you can carry the combo and the extension with ease...or make one trip with your bass and the combo.

Pix tomorrow.

Pic and clarification

Here is a crappy pic. But is shows that the amp is in great condition. There is actually one small surface "scuff" which you can't see from more than 2 feet away, which is not into the surface, and which would probably come off. Looks and sounds great.

PS

AI will retrofit this amp with its Cabrio system so that the head is removeable, should the buyer wish.
