Sign in to disble this ad
These are pretty much new only a few months old. Got my eye on something different. There is a couple of small blemishes on the cabs but nothing major. As for trades, I am looking for a good 4ohm cab (Bergantino, GB, etc)

1. Aguilar DB 2x12 8ohm in Boss tweed - $695 shipped on the East Coast and Midwest (+25 to ship out West)

Two 12" cast frame woofers, 56 oz. magnets, phenolic tweeter with phase plug
Power Handling: 600 watts RMS
Recessed deep dish handles
Custom crossover with variable tweeter control
One Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4" inputs

2. Aguilar DB 1x15 8ohm in Boss tweed - $600 shipped on the East Coast and Midwest (+25 to ship out West)

One 15" cast frame woofer, 95 oz. magnet
Power Handling: 400 watts RMS
Recessed deep dish handles
Casters included
One Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4" inputs

Can you daisy chain the cabs together?
My Markbass only has 1 output jack.
Also, what the porting and weight of those bad boys?

Randy,

What MB amp are you using? All the ones I can think of have two outputs. The speakon is a dual function output that accepts both speakon and 1/4". So, on a LMII or LMIII you can use that one and the one below it (which is just a 1/4").

On the cabs, I'm not sure about porting but you're looking at 70 lbs. on the 212 and 71 lbs. on the 115.

MB tube 800, and you are correct.
On the cabs, it appears there's a open space on the lower cab.
I'm just looking at front ported or sealed cabs.

The 212 is about 75lbs and the 115 about 70lbs. The cabs have Dual rear ports. You can daisy them together as well

Thanks

Excuse me the 115 is front ported ad the 212 rear Port placement is irrelevant as port output is omnidirectional. Andy from acme cabs told me that

I'd have to argue that. In a perfect world maybe. Andy is also a salesman besides a cabinet maker.
I've had Acme cab, not my thing.
Also, I like to feel that air, not give it all away to the drummer.

Bump...just a quick thought I'm a salesman. I tell the truth every time. Just some food for thought.

Beautiful cabs btw.
