Aguilar DB112 Chocolate Thunder

Sign in to disble this ad
1 cabinet has been sold. 1 available.

After much deliberation with myself, I have decided to sell my second pair of Aguilar DB112. I really wanted to keep them but just bought another bass...so, I need to free up some cash. These are still probably my favorite 1x12 on the market.

This pair is truly in as new condition. My other pair were the ones that went out on gigs. This pair has only seen practice in the house. Each one also comes with the padded Aguilar cover.

Plenty of power..300w at 8 ohms.

$385 shipped each. Street price is $600 each plus the cover is $100 and about $60 each for shipping.

Never heard an Aguilar before, but those might be the nicest looking cabs I've ever seen. Good luck with the sale bump.

Its funny you say that..when I purchased them my wife walked into the room and said "Those speakers are really in great shape for being old" I laughed and explained they were brand new but had a retro look to them. And they actually sound good too!

The LMII works very well with the DB112s. The LM is voiced with a "somewhat" round and warm low end. At least compared to the F1/F500. So, that matches well with the DB112. It is plenty loud. I have played a number of gigs with the LMII and DB112s together. It provides plenty of volume to play in a rock band with 2 guitars, keys and drums. In the end, I have not really found a head that has not worked with the DB112s. I have played anything from a GK to a Genz Benz through these cabs and they have all worked. I have always asserted that the DB112 cabinets do a real good job of letting the character of your amp and your bass shine through without adding a ton of color to the sound. That is not always the case with all cabinets. I hope that helps

I think you need another one to reach that nirvana.
