200 watts enough power to drive a 4 10 cab?
Never played through one of these or the Db750 how does it compare? I am using an SWR SM 900 pre fender and am wanting to try something diffrent.

200 watts of tube power is probably going to be just as loud or louder than your 900 watt SWR.

well i swapped out the 750 with the 359 particularly for the preference of tone, however the 750 obviously has the headroom. I just never needed that much.

I've owned all three at one time. Still own the aguilar amps. The 359 can easily drive a 410. However you want to use an efficient 410 with it. I use my with a Goliath II and it sounds great! The bergantino HS410 is another good option that I know of

The 750 is a monster and can be painfully loud with the right cabs. With 2 410s the soundman will hate you! The 750 seemed ALOT louder than than the 900 and the 359 is probably on par with the 900.

From my experience with these. I would concur. The DB750/1 is amazingly loud for what is claimed to only be 750 watts. And from my experience with a lot of SWR gear. It is generally not as loud ad you would expect it to be. YMMV

+1. The man knows his Aguilar gear.
My 359 drives a Bergantino HT322 so well. So good, in fact, I'm even going to mic it up and test a recording.

It's also worth mentioning that the 359 is also very simple to bias. No need to pay anyone to do it.

Rod,,you are right about SWR..I have to crank my SM 900 Master to almost 3oclock to get good volume with an 8om load,,Never tried with a 4ohm cab.
