Aguilar GS-210 & GS-212

I have a Aguilar stack/set: GS212 & GS210 with padded covers, the GS212 has the Aguilar cover and the GS210 has a padded LeCover ....both are 8 ohm cabs, used them as a stack, the GS210 really gives the GS212 the mids it lacks, the GS212 has casters, the rat-fur is in good condition, I'm just not into the Aguilar cabinet sound, not looking for trades ....... just cash ... looking to sell as a set and I just don't want to separate them, as to why I really don't want to separate them, the other cabinet will just take forever to sell, so it's all or nothing ..... this is a a local sale in the Houston,Tx metro area....willing to drive a reasonable distance for a meet-up .... first $800.00 gets them ... if you want to pay for shipping and a heavy duty box, I'll ship via FedEx Ground .....I accept cash for local sale or if shipping I'll accept PayPal .... the ThunderFunk amp is NOT for Sale

What's a reasonable distance to meet up for you? I'll be in OKC in a couple weeks and would be willing to drive down a bit further south if a deal can be arranged.

A reasonable distance is about 80 miles out of Houston, measured from the beltway

This rig looks like it'd KILL!!! Do you notice either the 2x12 or the 2x10 sounding louder than the other?

It's pretty well balanced, for a set-up of cabs of different drivers, with the 210 on the top it seems a little weighted towards the 210, since it's closer to your ears, but when using a wireless and standing 20 feet or so, it sounds somewhat balanced, this is based on using it on about 18-20 gigs

Just my luck, you post this one day after I buy a pair of 1x12's. I still curious about the GS series. Bump for a Houstonian!

I acquired this set of cabs, figuring that the modular set-up was the way to go, I got the GS210 first, it has a nice warm, mid sounding voice, it does have a good bottom sound, but not like a 12 or 212 or a 15, it just lacked that component, did some research and I decided to look for the GS115, which is hard to find, when nothing came up for sale over a period of 6 months, I acquired the GS212, on it's own, it's kinda mid scooped, but once I added the GS210, the sound was like I added the missing mids, the thing is, it's a set-up thats taller than my NV610 and I guess I'm spoiled by the NV610 ...I wanted a smaller setup for the gigs that have small stages and to appease the folks who think your going to REALLY loud, based on the size of the speaker cabinet that you roll in ... the GS cabinets are very well build ... all in all this was a project that got kinda out of hand !!!!!

How much for the Thunderfunk? :-)

j/k! Couldn't resist!

Every time I think I am set in the speaker department, a thread like this pops up. Oh wait, if I didn't go to the TB classifieds, then nothing would pop up. Maybe I am the problem...

Bump for a great price on a really nice looking speaker cab set-up!

Would you consider splitting these and selling separate?
