Ampeg B-100R Combo: Local So-Cal

For those of you that don't know, the Ampeg B-100R "Rocket Bass" amp is a combo amp that puts 100 watts through a 15" speaker. Four band EQ and "Ultra Low", "Ultra Mid", and "Ultra High" boost button for when you need just a bit extra. The amp is styled after the vintage b-15 combos so it's got a snappy look to it.

This is a great amp. The fifteen gives lots of deep, warm tones and the four band eq gives tons of flexibility. Even though it's just 100 watts, i've used this on tons of gigs. It's been my go-to workhorse for a good number of years. Since most gigs (at least IME) you're mic'd or DI'd, it provides more than enough volume for the stage. I only had to push it to the limit once since i've owned it and that was battling three electric guitarists. The amp is in MOSTLY good condition (see below). I'm selling just because i'll be moving about a lot in california and really want something light (This amp is quite heavy) and compact.

Now for the bad stuff. A few years back i let a friend borrow this amp for a gig and when he was unloading, it fell out of his raised pickup onto the ground. One corner is completely mangled and the covering is torn off. That said, the amp works flawlessly. I haven't had a single electrical problem despite that hard fall. No resoldering, no replaced parts, nothing. This thing is a beast. Reliable as hell.

So i don't really know the worth of this amp (i bought it for 450 used several years back).
