Howdy, friends. I have my Ampeg B15S up for sale locally in the mid-Atlantic area. I am lothe to sell, as I wanted to re-hab her fully, but a Mesa Buster has come avail. near me and a view of my profile will show what a Mesa-freak I am.
I feel the price is pretty good for a rare bird in very good condition. I saw the one at GC for $1,500 and nearly crapped myself
(and that's why they still have it). She needs a few latches (fliptops.net) but the former owner added a few that hold well. Also, still has the stock 2 prong plug which I was going to swap out. A loud 60 watt all tube flip top combo, she sounds sweet. Has the dual channels, 4 inputs, response switch, hum adjustment, polarity switch, bass/flat/guitar on channel 1, all the toys are here. The speaker is an 8 ohm JBL K-140 which is tight and strong. The stock dolly and tilt back bar are both here, as well. The tolex is in pretty good shape with a few dings and a few spots if the edges begining to roll up and the stock grille cloth is intact but could use a cleaning. The tubes are al follows: 2- 7027A , 2- 12AX7 , 1- 12DW7 , and 1- 12AU7. There are a few extra Realistic tubes that will come with her as that is what is in it now. I have no desire to ship as the size and weight make it a daunting task to say the least.
I am asking $600, though not set in concrete, I will listen to offers. The MIJ Fender P bass in the pic is not for sale with the amp but I will entertain offers on her and the Line 6 Lowdown LD150 is for sale in another post. Not looking for trades unless YOU have a Mesa Buster lying around, too.
