Ampeg B25B speaker cabinet for sale! VERY Clean!

Sign in to disble this ad

I've had this guy for a couple years but have only used it once or twice (it came with a package deal and it was not the reason why I bought the package). I do not know the date but it came with a '69 head so possibly around then? One of the more astute members of this forum might have a more comprehensive idea. The badge is metal.

It is VERY clean for the age! The tolex has 3-4 very small rips in it on the edges. I'm pretty sure there wasn't one at all when I got it. The grill has absolutely no issue.

It comes with what seems to be the original wheelcart as well. The wheels move quite nicely.

The speakers are apparently an stock optional set of Altec Lansing 418B's. They are clean and work just as they should. I took some pics of them (forgive some pictures, poor lighting and camera). Pretty self-explanatory.

Last I tried it, the amp worked like a charm. I have no doubt I'm remembering correctly but I'll give her a try tomorrow at some point to clarify completely I think the 1/4" plug was added at some point and the original stock plug (whatever the official name is) was rewired to this 1/4". The non 1/4" plug does not work it seems. I closed it back up before I could see if it was disconnected and diverted but I'm assuming that is the reason.

Looking to get $350 B/O. I'm pretty sure I am only interested in local pickup. I am 1.25 hours from Buffalo, 2.5 hours from Rochester, 2.5 hours from Pittsburgh, 2 hours from Cleveland, 2-3 from the Youngstown/Akron/Canton area, and 2.5-3.5 from Syracuse/Binghamton/Elmira. I have friends in nearly all of those places and a vehicle so I can meet halfway if need be (of course, I'd want a little compensation for that) If there is serious significant interest I'll look into shipping. But I'm really not that interested in that hassle and would not mind driving it to somewhere.

Thanks!

To be honest, I do not know. If it's not, it should be a quick switch back to the original I'm guessing.
