Anyway, the amp. The Ampeg B500DR bass head uses a digital "front end" to remember your analog amp settings. This solid-state head has 350W output at 4 ohms and 500W at 2 ohms. Its 4 memory locations store your amp settings, remembering the settings for gain, EQ, effects blend, even which input you use! It's perfect for players who bring more than one bass to the gig. Dial in and save the perfect sound for each instrument and choose them with a button push. Even with one bass, the B500DR lets you automatically call up settings for R&B, rock 'n' roll, jazz, or funk. Each of the memory location is also footswitchable with the included 4-button footswitch.
I has plenty of juice and I've used it for about 2 years now. Not a thing wrong with this amp head, I'm just upgrading to something even larger for the current band I'm in.
