Up for sale is an Ampeg BXT-115HL8 8-ohm bass cabinet. I bought this new for $650.00 at Tower Music in Fenton, Mo. This cabinet was designed with input from Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey; this is the best sounding 15 that I have ever played through. This is a great deal when you consider the fact that a new Vietnamese SVT-15E is $530.00 and has a 15" speaker with a 2.5" voice coil and an 80oz magnet. This made in the U.S.A. BXT-115HL8 features a custom 15" speaker with a 4" voice coil and a 109oz magnet. It is also able to be used in a tilt back configuration which is built into the cabinet in addition to casters and an adjustable tweeter. I have the original receipt and the literature from when the cabinet was purchased. I would like to sell this locally in the the St. Louis area. Thanks for looking!! |
