Ampeg DD-12. Two 12" drivers, one facing forward, the other mounted on the back of the cab. The rear driver is crossed over at aprx 150 hz, so it is only reproducing the very low and non-directional notes. Makes the cab sound massive. Has a tweeter and port on the the front, and input and tweeter control on the side. 4 ohms and handles 400 watts. A pretty rare cab. I sent a PM to the Ampeg rep on talkbass and he wasn't able to find any info, though it has the same specs as the SVR-12 and one can get a manual for that. Another TB'r is restoring a DD-12 and documenting it
here.
I bought this off craigslist back in February, but I'm planing on moving and going back to school so I need to off-load some extra gear. This cab is a beast, and weighs in around 80 lbs. I don't think shipping would be an option (I'm guessing $100 plus), but I will ship if a buyer is interested in paying... Otherwise I'm looking for $250. I'm willing to meet someone within a reasonable distance of Boston.
