Selling my Ampeg PF350...great shape, I just got an Aguilar TH350 at NAMM today so the Ampeg can be passed on to someone else.

What is the PF350 tone like? I dont know much about the amp but it sure sounds like a sweet offer.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but here's how my friend described one he auditioned recently: "The 350 sounded very much like a real Portaflex - or what I think I remember they sounded like back in the day. It had more of an old school vibe - the lows were not as deep and not as articulate (ed. as compared to the 500). That's the same description I'd use for many tube amps. And it was very warm. With a P bass it totally nailed Motown."

Warm is the best way to describe it, though the highs are not lost at all.

And yeah, it's a sweet deal.
