Here are two excellent Ampeg rackmount preamps, the SVP-CL and SVP-PRO. Both sound amazing, and very similar. The SVP-CL could pass as new, and the SVP-PRO is in excellent condition with very light signs of being racked. No issues of any kind. *8-17-10: SVP-PRO sold, CL still available.* $435 shipped via FedEx ground to the lower 48.

I looked up the instruction manual on the Ampeg site but it's ambiguous about the voltage situation - whether the 230v is a different model or just a switch/setting or what. What does the exclamation text say there by the left of the IEC socket?

Switching it to 230v is probably just a matter of switching a few wires inside the unit, but I don't have a schematic so I'm not sure. |
