AMPEG SVP CL - DEAD MINT, NEW TUBES !

This is a dead mint Ampeg SVP CL. I just had it serviced with new Groove Tubes. Three 12ax7's and one 12au7.

This is the same pre used in the Ampeg SVT Classic

You won't find one nicer than this.

PM's returned -
1. "Why was it retubed ?" - During shipping a tube shattered and my tech noticed that one of the other tubes was incorrect value. It resulted in lower output signal. It's all good now !

2. "Is it hissy ? Most Ampeg SVP's seem to be that way." - It does have a little hiss that these are known for. With the correct eq setting it can be managed quite well. In other words, if you have the treble all the way up and the ultra-bright switch on, it will hiss more.
