I decided to sell this pre-amp because I have not used it in quite a while. This has very little usage and was purchased to use for larger venues with stereo power amp and multiple speaker combinations. I can recall using it 3 or 4 times. This looks as new as you can get and could pass for new if it was sitting in a store. Includes power cord and owners manual. I never bought or needed the foot switch.
I did extensive searching for lower noise tubes and after experimenting found what I think is a great mixture. Has 5 tube pre-amp.....4 12AX7A and 1 12AU7. I bought a new old stock RCA 12AU7 that is known for low noise to give the ultimate combination. I also replaced the 12AX7A with Groove Tubes. I found that one of the 12AX7A's was slightly microphonic (when tapping the tube) and replaced it with a new RUBY 12AX7A. The tubes have only about a dozen hours on them and probably one of the quietest Ampeg SVP Pro preamps that you will find. If you run the master at around 10 o'clock position you might not know that it is on until you play a note.........and then "buckle your seat belt". TONE like nothing else I have ever used. Depth, clarity, character and the ability to shape it to whatever you want. Fantastic combination of tone controls plus the graphic eq section make this a pre-amp that can not be beat.
I have lowered the price to $400 and will split the shipping costs to CONUS

Good luck! You posted this right after I bought a SVT-3 Pro (same preamp section), so I didn't need this one, which is too bad, it's exactly what I wanted.
