Ampeg SVP-Pro Preamp

Here's a great Ampeg SVP-Pro preamp that I purchased from another member awhile back. The only reason I'm seling it is to fund the purchase of a new bass, otherwise I'd keep it.

Condition is very good, a few minor scratches on the bottom of the case, virtually no marks on the top, minimal rack screw marks, one very small scratch on the gain knob. Tubes have not changed since I purchased it, I doubt I've even used it 10 hours.

$450 OBO shipped ConUS.

No takers? I thought this would go pretty quickly.

FYI, this model has 5 tubes in it, unlike the CL or the Sheehan model.

Here's a link to the manual if you're interested in checking out the specs: http://www.ampeg.com/pdf/SVP-PRO.pdf

How does the distortion/OD compare to the SVT- BSP pre's?

You can crank the gain up which will give you all the distortion you want. I've never used the BSP pre so I have no idea on a comparison.
