Ampeg SVT-2 Pro $800

Decided to keep the VR after it didn't sell, trying to sell the 2-Pro now as I don't need 2 300w heads.

I bought this amp new from the Guitar Center in Charlotte in 2003. Amp is in good condition and has an additional cooling fan, but will need tubes sometime soon. Really wish I could keep it as I like the different sounds you can get as opposed to the VR but she just ends up sitting at the practice spot most of the time.

I Want to try and sell locally first but may entertain offers.

TRADES... Not really looking for trades but would be tempted to for an Avalon u5 + cash on you end, or a berg 6x10.

Have svt two pro too and its funy i have the fan in the same place u do. I was wondering how much different the vr sounds?

The VR is just more ballsy/fuller sounding, this may just be due to it having newer tubes. I love the tone you can get out of the 2-Pro but between the two I gotta go with the VR for me right now.

I know as soon as this 2-Pro goes I'm gonna miss the heck out of it though.
