SOLD...Ampeg SVT-8Pro.

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD

I do love this amp. I'm just not playing much bass anymore. After trying a bazillion different amps, this is the one I kept and played the longest. It's a great amp.. and this one is made in the good 'ole U.S.A.

It will come shipped in the original box, the one that it was shipped to me from Bass NW. I also will include an Ampeg footswitch that goes with the amp.

The amp has lived it's life in a rack, and been very well taken care of. It's favorite cabinets are also up for sale... a pair of Berg HT115's.. Together it is a rig to end all GAS.

$975.00 shipped w/ the footswitch.. and a tear, (that's a tear from eye's because I'm crying.. not a tear as in rip because I will miss this amp. )

I'll get pics tomorrow.

When only the best will do, turn to the SVT-8PRO for ultimate power and massive Ampeg tone. The SVT-8PRO combines our vintage SVP-CL preamp with a 2500-Watt Solid-State power amp for Earth-shaking bass that just won’t quit. Loaded with professional features throughout, the SVT-8PRO was designed for the most demanding player and the most demanding of gigs.

An outstanding feature, unique to the SVT-8PRO, is its speaker emulation circuitry, which allows players to dial in classic SVT overdriven tones at any volume level. This means you can get all the crunch and grind of an SVT pushed to the limit, but at a volume level that won’t set off local seismic detectors.

Our 5-position Ultra Low selector gives you low frequency tone-sculpting capability like never before. From the fattest low-end to tight, highly articulated punch, the choice is yours. And the built-in DI can patch you right into the front of house, although you probably won’t need it! Bottom line: SVT tone at concert volume levels, in a lightweight 23-pound package.

+1 one of a very few Ampeg Pro series heads I have yet to play through. Sure packs an awful lot of power. Good luck.
