Ampeg SVT-CL head and 410HLF (with soft cases)

UPDATE: Head sold! closing this post and opening new one just for the cab.

Hi TBers,
Reposting 'cause I dropped the price and need to change the title (couldn't figure out how to edit it).

I'm selling my U.S. made Ampeg SVT-CL head and 410HLF cabinet. I have rarely used it since I bought it new back in '06. It is in *excellent* condition. The only minor issue is one of the knobs cracked. The pot is perfectly fine and was not damaged, but the knob slides off and on easily. Hardly worth fixing, but an easy fix nonetheless. The deal includes soft cases which I bought to protect it (after the knob cracked. lol).

Will sell both for $1,400.00, or just the head for $900.00. The cab is not for sale individually unless the head sells first by itself. Yes, this is a fantastic deal on a fantastic amp.

The reasons I'm selling are because the main band I'm currently in doesn't require it (we only play small venues), so I rarely use it, and I have a very small house and the rig takes up a LOT of storage space. I absolutely have to downsize my gear.

Willing to trade the head for a Lakland Skyline Joe Osborn 5-string, or the entire rig for a Genz Benz Shuttle and Genz Benz 112 cab of some type.

For now, this is just pickup only, in the Richmond, Virginia area. I'm going to keep this ad up for a little while as pickup only, as I'd really rather not ship. I'm sure you all understand why. However, I am absolutely willing to drive a reasonable ways to meet somewhere, if payment is made via paypal beforehand.

I will add some pics later, if needed. But to hear this wonderful amp in action, check out the following vids.
YouTube - ‪The Lost Satellites - We've Got To Get Out of This Place‬‏
YouTube - ‪The Lost Satellites - Shine‬‏

Man, just listening to these vids is a painful reminder of how much I am going to miss this amp...

Thanks! Yeah, there is nothing in the world that compares to that SVT-CL tone, IMO. When I first coupled that amp with the Lakland Skyline JO, I didn't think it could get any better. Then when I added the East J-Retro preamp into the bass, I realized I was wrong. It actually got better. I absolutely LOVE that tone. Sadly, I only need about 1/3 the power/volume these days. If I could find a 100 watt all-tube head that runs at 8ohms, I'd be a very, very happy camper. Breaks my heart to sell the SVT-CL, but it breaks my heart even more seeing it sit in the corner of my [very cluttered] music room and never get any use...
