Ampeg SVT II (non pro) Holy Grail

$850 shipped! Hi I have a good condition Ampeg SVT II (non pro) bass amp for sale. Letting this go is the last thing I would ever want to do but I play out alot & a recent shoulder injury & lazy band mates has put me in a bad spot. This is the bass amp of all bass amps & thats all there is to it. I will die a good bit inside when I have to ship it off (lower 48 only). She had a check up a month ago at Joe Kolla "The Tube Amp Guy" here in Richmond, VA & everything is working better than perfect. He also gave me a detailed written report of what he did to it & says its pushing around 350 watts. Believe me when I say this... This is the most powerful beast of an amp you will ever play through. The 3D push of the sound is God like. You can turn this baby up to 10 & it still stays quiet none of that speaker hiss. All the tubes are kickin like a 6 leg chicken. She even comes with the original rack case which is almost never to be found in this day & age. This will be packed by pros & shipped to you for $850 or you can come pick it up from my house in Richmond, VA. Again I cant even describe the wall pushing 3D pound of this amp. Im having second thought already so lets do this before I back out again & drop the listing. Also the knobs in the pic have been changed to the original Ampeg knobs I bought new two weeks ago.

Tbird is right. This is the grail of bass amps. I own one, and the tone and feel are indescribable. Nothing else comes close IMO. I play mine through a Berg NV610, and me so happy!

And my avatar will tell you that I know a thing or two about grails.

Free bump for the grail amp, and for a top notch TB'er!

Speaking as a JMJ fanboy, this here's a pretty sweet thread.

Bass god: hardly! Shucks, guys. Maybe something more modest, like Supreme Exalted Emperor Overlord of Basslandia. Or at least maybe on my block, and maybe in my forum.

Been eyeing these lovely amps for a while, they were the basis of many great tones I loved, including my friend Greg from Failure back in the day.

I have some Beck touring later this year and this might be in the mix....
