Ampeg SVT II (non-pro version) - FRESHLY RETUBED

Up for sale is my Ampeg SVT II, non-pro, rackmount amp. It is well used, but the tubes are brand new--so new that *I* haven't even played them yet!

I don't have pics because it is literally still in the shipping box from British Audio Service. They are an authorized Ampeg service center (and the best Trace service center in the US), and I had them retube & rebias the power section + the two 12AU7 tubes. They also went through the rest of the amp and fixed/resoldered any joints needing it.

I am not playing that much anymore, and my current amps cover me just fine. May be interested in a partial trade for a LMII or similar lightweight head.

Amp is already professionally boxed up (by British Audio) and ready to go. $900 + shipping via FedEx Ground, based on your location. From Illinois (where british audio is) one state over was $45. I will give you MY price on shipping via FedEx Ground, but 1) It has to ship to a BUSINESS address due to weight, and 2) Insurance is mandatory.

300 watts, 2 ohm & 4 ohm outputs.
6 Band EQ with level controls

If you don't like my price, make me an offer. I'm reasonable and I'd like to see this go to someone who can actually use it, rather than having it take up space in my basement.

Kidding, of course. It wasn't listed for trade, and I must...resist...urge...to get more gear.

Here's the rub: I'm moving back to guitar (mostly). So, if you have any cool guitar stuff, I may be interested in full/partial trades for quality guitars (mainly a Gibson guy), unique guitar amps, a couple 16 ohm G12H-30/Greenback Celestions (non-Chinese), or maybe some sub cabs for my PA.

Otherwise, the enticing/appealing stuff in the bass realm would be 1) TE full tube heads (not hybrid) in good working order, 2) Music Man 4 string USA Sterling or Stingray in good working order, 3) Little Mark II or similarly-sized mini head + cash.

If it makes it any easier for you to make the exchange, I take Paypal (forgot to mention that) and on ebay I have 467 feedbacks with 100% rating. Also, if you want to pick the amp up, I am in the Des Moines area.
