I need to raise some cash to pay off some outstanding bills. So, in addition to the basses that I currently have up for sale, I've decided to part with these beasts. I've decided to sell them in the past only to chicken out. My bills (and my wife) won't allow me to do that again. The amp/cab are currently being stored with all my pro audio gear. I need to stop by there later and can snap some pics for anyone who might be interested.
The ONLY trade that I might be interested in would be an Ampeg V4BH. I had one and foolishly traded it recently. I've got a couple of ampeg 15's that I'm keeping and hoping to reunite with a V4BH at some point because I looooove that combination.
The amp:
1991 SVTII non pro in a roadrunner 4 space case. The amp is in stellar shape considering it is now 20 years old. It was gone over and retubed (all JJs) by an authorized ampeg repair shop when I purchased it. It does not have a tube cage surrounding the tubes as others seem to have but the case protects them quite well. I played a few practices and a couple of shows with it before getting my Mesa Walkabout at which point my back decided that I should leave the heavy gear at home. It has been a backup amp since. The tubes have very few hours on them. I'm really not playing a lot right now and could use the cash a LOT more than the amp. $1000
The cab:
Bergantino NV610 with padded cover. The cab is the older carpeted version and sounds fantastic. The cover has a seam that is starting to separate near the bottom but I could likely get that fixed prior to the sale. $850
I would prefer not to ship for obvious reasons but will drive a considerable distance to make a deal. If anyone wants both the amp and cab, we can figure out some sort of package price.
