| Ampeg SVT7-PRO minty and ungigged! So, I got this awesome SVT-7PRO amp last Spring and it was supposed to be the head of my "big gig rig," then I got a job in NYC and it's been under my bed its gig bag in my little apartment ever since. Upon receiving it in May 2012, I took it out of it's box, noodled for 5 minutes (said "oh, sweet!"), and put it away. The next week, I received my NY job offer, I sold my car and I've been full-blown subway commuter since. I've just been playing my micro or house amps for the last several months.
This is a great chance to get a fantastic 1000W hybrid amp. It's basically new minus the shipping box (used it for books in my move). Even the power cord and rack mounting accessories are are still packaged. To top it all off, I made a makeshift carrying bag out of a deluxe Brenthaven laptop bag. The insides are a little ripped up from my amp-fitting mod, but there is plenty of padding and the nylon construction is super-sturdy. Also, there's plenty of room for accessories.
I just fired her up to test her out and she roars. In full disclosure, there is some subtle paint unevenness on top, but it is so negligible that it wouldn't even show up in the photos. Also, one of the optional/removable front-mount handles is missing, but I am contacting Ampeg for a replacement. If I get it after the sale, I will mail it at no charge.
This amp is $800 new, and I consider this amp to be like-new condition. It's also only 8 months into its 5-year warranty. I will also include the original bill of sale so you can claim the warranty. All that said, I think $600 shipped CONUS (updated 1/29) is a more than fair asking price.
EDIT: I can also arrange for local p/u in NYC.
PS - Although this is a new member profile, I am not a new seller. Please see RyanFenderBass for my positive iTrader score. I'll even respond to a PM to that username to prove that it's my account. I think that's it. Have fun!
