This is a Master Volume Selmer Ampeg V4 putting it in the 1976-1979 era. This does NOT have the distortion knob. Don't worry, the 7027's give you great crunch at reasonable volume.
This is a guitar amp, but it sounds great with bass. I bought it about 12 years ago, played many a show and received many compliments on my tone.
The amp has 4 Sovtek 7027A power tubes, appears to be all Magnavox preamp tubes with the exception of one JJ 12AX7.
The tube grill/guard/backpanel is a replacement from Fliptops and held in place by four "incorrect" screws, they fit, just not correct.
As for condition I would rate it as fair, the are not any major tears in the grill cloth or tolex, but it does have scratches and dings here and there.
All knobs, switches, lights, reverb, and reverb lock function as should.
This head weighs about 65 pounds according to my digital bathroom scale.
I am willing to split the cost of professional packaging and shipping with the buyer. I've had an estimate of around $160 for packing and shipping to "out west"
I am willing to drive 300 miles to meet you halfway CONUS to deliver this amp
for a sale.
