The XB-15 Speaker Cabinet acts as 2 cabinets in one, the XB-15 is unique in that the speaker cabinet fits inside of a road-case type of housing that also serves as a bass extender cabinet. When the speaker cabinet is pulled out of the road case it can be placed on top of the road case. And since the speaker cabinet has an opening in its bottom, and the road case is open on top, the 2 cabinets share air space, thereby effectively doubling the cabinet’s volume achieving a good low-frequency response down to 40Hz.
Cabinets can be used as PA mains as well.

Bass Preamp - Amplified Music Products A.M.P. SL-1
This is the same Preamp design used in the legendary AMP BH-420
AMP (Amplified Music Products) was started in 1982 by two ex-Acoustic employees, Russ Allee (who designed the legendary Acoustic 360 amp) and Roger Smith.
This preamp was designed by Steve Rabe of SWR fame, and is considered to be the predecessor to the SWR line.
Jaco Pastorius used AMP products for a while.
