Ashdown AMB-500RC and GK/Carvin Pre-Power setup FS-FT

I'm going through a bit of an amp crisis. I seem to be struggling to find satisfaction with an amp. So I'm looking for something else.

First up an Ashdown AMB-500RC
I just got the Ashdown from a TB member last week. I'm not dying to get rid of this one because it does sound good I just want a different sound. I'm not including the case in the picture but it will be in an older skb case. Asking $550 or trade.

Second is a Gallien Krueger 2001RBP, Carvin HD1800, Fuhrman Power Conditioner, and a Behringer Rack Tuner in a 6 space rack case.
I love the GK sound but don't like the bulk. Asking $700 or trade.

Amps that I am interested in (but not limited to) are:
Gallien Krueger 1001RB
Aguilar AG 500
SWR 550x
Hughes and Kettner BassBase 400
Genz Benz GBE750

What does the ashdown sound like? What was the tone that it delivered versus the tone you were looking for

I like the 2001rbp. Trade for a SWR Grand Prix, or sell by itself
