Up for grabs is a mint Ashdown BTA-400 in mint condition. It has lived all of its life in a flight case custom made for it and that case will be included in the deal. This is a UK version and it will run at 8 or 4 ohms only. It has been gigged sparingly and never abused. This sale will include the amp and the flight case. It will be professionally packed and the tubes will be removed and shipped separately.
$2500 shipped in the lower 48. Pix to follow.

The one that I have for sale was built in the UK. It has a EVO preamp, so one tube in the pre that you can switch in and out. The power amp stage uses 8 KT-88's. They can be accessed via a grid plate on the top of the amp cabinet.

I agree the weight may be a roadblock in the reason it hasn't sold yet. I have lifted that model up a few times and it is indeed heavy but it's definitely a killer amp as far as sound and quality goes. |
