F/S or F/T Avatar 8 ohm 410 Delta Cab in good shape!

Hello all, SOLD SOLD SOLD

Ok, So I have this Avatar 410 Delta (non Neo) cab that I picked up locally from the original owner last year. I can tell you there are very low hours on this thing.

I used it for all of one gig, when I was looking to run this cabinet and my Neo 410 Avatar together. (It was an outdoor show).

Since then, its been sitting, as my Neo 410 is my main gigging cab. I thought I would hang onto it as a rehearsal cab, but that has not materialized.

The cab is covered in the typical carpet, and has one small blemish at the top (see photo). It is missing one of the 1/4" jacks on the back (see photo, bought it that way), but the other one works fine. The Speak-on jack works fine as well. Cab is in my nice clean, dry, smoke free house, and has no pulls, damage, or other surprises to it.

These Eminence Delta Speakers are really nice. They are much more "neutral" sounding than the Neo speakers, and require less EQ'ing. In my experience, they will reflect correctly whatever your amp or bass is putting out, without coloring the sound too much.

Each speaker puts out about 350 watts, so I don't have to tell you...this thing can handle anything you throw at it. ( for the mathematically challenged, like me, that's over 1000 watts of handling power)

It weighs in at 85 lbs, very reasonable weight for a 410. I am not opposed to shipping this, but I have to tell you local sales will be given preference. If it gets shipped, it will be at the buyers expense. I can drive to meet up with someone, if they are serious about the purchase, and throw me a few bucks for gas!

Asking Price is going to be 350.00, 300.00 plus whatever it cost to ship it to ya....or drive somewhere to meet. Throw offers at me, worst I can do is politely refuse

I just looked up specs for your combo (and what other people have been doing, on the web, youtube etc.) and there is no problem with running my Avatar w/ your combo. You have a cab extension plug in the back for 8ohms, which my Avatar just happens to be.

The short answer to this is no. If you read the specs on your combo, it is putting out 350 watts of power right now. The two 10 inch speakers are wired at 8ohms.

By adding another 8ohm cabinet, (hooked up to your extension jack) your amp will then put out 500 watts.

Here's a sticky with a set of links that explains cabs, ohms, speakers and such....plus more

AMPS FAQ!! Info on OHMS, Allsize RIGS-OverUnderPowerCabs DIY TechTalk-Links

One thing to note....with your present setup, the only other cabinet you can get has to be 8ohms.

Although you can use any type of 8 ohm cab, (egs., a 1 x 15, 2 x 12, another 2 x 10, or a 4 x 10 like mine) The one with more speakers will move more air, giving you greater presence in a band mix... if that is your goal by getting another cabinet.

ok im still skimming the info section as im typing this.

cuz i read that your cab is rated 1000 watts, and i heard my cab drops to 250 watts with a avatar 2x10, and that would out out 250 watts for a combination of 500 watts.

so as i understood it, the 500 watts isnt what my amp puts out, but what the amp and cab equal.

but what your saying is that my amp puts out 500 watts, and if yours is equal to 1000 watts, id have 1500 watts or something?

note: still reading the section

Your amp will drive one 8 ohm load with a maximum of 350 watts. If you add a 2nd 8 ohm load, it will push 250 watts through each cab for a total maximum of 500 watts.

your 4x10

cuz i know the 2x10 drops to 250, but idk if ANY cab would put out 250.

like if i had a head that could push it more, buy my combo would only drop itsslef, and cabs to 250 regardless of they can handle.

or is it like, 800w something from your amp and 250w from mine.
