$1,395 OBO. This is an incredible ALL TUBE bass rig I put together recently. Home repairs dictate sale. The entire rig is in excellent+ condition with a couple of components being brand new.
Rig is in Albany, NY and I would prefer not to ship it. I'll drive up to 100 miles if necessary. The rig consists of:
Mesa Strategy 400 Stereo Power Amp. This amp delivers 200 (all tube) watts per channel @ 8/4 or 2(!) ohms. Need to drive eight 8 ohm cabinets, this will do it! Volume and presence controls for each channel. This is the cleanest Strategy 400 that I've ever seen. Awesome power and audiophile quality tone!
GT Electronics Tube Bass Preamp. This was hand-built by SWR for their California neighbors, GT Electronics. It is basically the "front-end" of an SWR ST-220 bass amp which was used all the way thru to the SM-500 Series. The older SWR tone is legendary and this preamp captures all of it. Again, this is the cleanest GT Preamp I've ever seen!
Furman Rackrider Power Distribution System. 8 rear power outlets, 1 front. Front mounted power switch.
Pyle PFN-31 Triple Exhaust Fan System mounted to rear rails of the rack case. This unit was bought new for this rig to insure that it runs cool at all times. New condition.
Roadie 8U Rack Mount Roadcase w/rear rails. This unit was bought new for this rig and is in new condition. 16" deep less covers.
1U Ventilated Rack Panel. Just to finish off the front panel and hold a space for your tuner, wireless or effects unit. New.
This is an awesome, powerful, custom rig that took 3 years to find the "correct" components to assemble. I'm VERY picky about my gear and only buy the best pieces out there and this is it.
