Bag End 2x15 - Oiled Birch

This is a re-hash of an old thread I had selling this cab.

I am again motivated to sell this, and now am willing to accept offers. My asking price is $600. If anyone has any ideas for shipping something like this and wants to pay shipping, let me know.

I'm closing the old thread, but here's the link so you can see pictures and get all of the information:

Bag End 2x15 - Oiled Birch

I need to get rid of stuff I'm not using and invest in stuff I will. It's a shame to part with such a beautiful piece, but that's the way it goes.

Must...stop....packrat-ing! (that's just for me, not you....)

I must post the picts here... if I could justify any reason for me to own this in ANY way I would!

even if it was just a stand for my URB

Your price is amazing... I really wish I had even the slightest bit of need (and/or extra cash)

Interested.

I'm interested in the cab. I practice in Milwaukee three/four times a week. I'll think about this in the next couple of days and get back to you.

I really don't know. I don't own a scale. It's essentially 2 of the largest size Bag End 15" cabs put together.

It's heavy enought that you'll want help with it, but I did get it in and out of my Ford Ranger by myself. Steps are where the trouble is. If you really need to know I can do some looking around to get an estimate.

It's like 2 of these put together. It'll be a bit less than 2x's the weight because the "top" of one half is the "bottom" of the other. And I don't really know the difference in weight between the birch wood and whatever plywood they normally use.

Bag End S15B-D
Model S15B-D
Impedance 8 Ohms
Continuous Sine Wave Power Handling 200 W
Peak Music Program Power Handling 400 W
Sensitivity 1 Watt/1 Meter 103 dB SPL
Frequency Response 40-4kHz
Crossover Frequency N/A
Parallel Input Connectors 1/4" and Banana
Dimensions
HxWxD (in inches) 18.5 x 28.5 x 24.5
Net Weight (in pounds) 70
Components 1, E-15

The birch cabs are about 10lbs heavier so I'd guess about 160-170lbs for that one.

I'll be in Chicago playing a gig the day after thanksgiving - any Chicago people would have a good opportunity to get it delivered to them then.....

What's Ack supposed to mean?

Reminder - the cab can be in Chicago Friday. I can even consider trades / partial trades. I'm not desperate, I just think this should get used. It's too cool to sit around and wait for me to start a dub band

There was a fairly popular local punk group by the name of Ack in the 80s. Singer by the name of Skid Marx.
Someone buy this cab- I can't...

Is there some way I can block posts by dgelting? I can't stand seeing this anymore. It's just not practical for me... I already have a 2x15... the garage is full, I'm getting too old.... Yet I'm inexplicably drawn to it.

That's almost exactly where I am about this......except I don't currently own a 2x15

Seriously, I would love to have this epic piece of Bag End history... but I have no need / cash / space.

Bump for an amazing cab!
