Bag End Cab Stack: S15X-D, S15-D, and Covers

Sign in to disble this ad
*SOLD* -- both cabinets sold locally
================================================== ======

The classic Bag End stack of 15inch cabinets: S15X-D plus S15-D

Both in *great* condition with LeCover covers.

No cosmetic flaws that I notice, and never any sound issues.

I've just downsized a lot since playing only Upright Bass, and never need what these cabinets can produce. They've seldom been out of the house.

Prefer to sell as a stack, but will consider selling seperately.
*Really* prefer to sell locally (SF Bay Area), but will consider shipping for FedEx cost.

$625

Thanks....Lyle

Got to BUMP the classice BE stack that seems to be showing up alot around here as of late.

Killer tone at a great price with not much weight involved. So what's not to like???

I dunno. I guess everyone's on vacation.

I just lowered the price again. But still hoping to sell them locally and not ship.

Thanks....Lyle

Have you played these with a 5 string? If so how is the B?

Have you priced shipping?

I play mainly fives and sixes and this stack works very well with either. If the B didn't sound very good, particularly in the mix, I wouldn't use them.

Sorry Brad, another question. You wouldn't use the B or the cabs?

I wouldn't use the cabs if they couldn't handle the B strings. I'm pretty much always going to have a B on a 5 or 6 (haven't done an EADGC yet and probably won't but never say never).

This setup is just one of those things you have to hear live in the mix to really appreciate what they can do. And don't tweak the heck out of your amp at first, just turn it up.

I'm sorry, guys, but I haven't been paying attention to this thread enouth. Best is to PM me directly, but I'll watch the thread too.

I assume it's Summer Vacation, and Bass players are out on the beach instead of buying new gear. Otherwise there's no explaining why these Bag Ends haven't been sold at this price. Oh well, I'd just squander the money on more gear anyway.

PatO: No, I'd want to keep the covers with these cabinets.

Shipping: I haven't priced shipping, but will try to get ballpark prices this week. If there's a better (cheaper) option than UPS and FedEx (I can't believe their prices these days), please let me know.

Thanks to all....Lyle

Just to repeat:

The S15-D sold locally today.

The S15X-D (the model with the coaxial tweeter) with it's LeCover is still available for $350.

Will ship if necessary, but you must cover costs.

Thanks....Lyle
