I had a history of blowing the original 200 watt speakers that Bag End puts in their cabinets so I solved that problem by installing an 8-ohm 600 watt Carvin PS15C in this cabinet about 12 years ago and never had a problem since. This is an older cabinet but still in pretty good shape and I don't believe the speaker makes that much difference in tone. IMHO, the cabinet design is the main contributing factor to the sound of these great cabinets.
I have too many speaker cabinets lying around so this has to go. Asking $175 plus shipping to CONUSA, will vary by location. Paypal accepted, not looking for any trades.
